The amazing control of the bit comes from specific placement of angled side bars which only contact the lower jaw. It is the position of these bars which give very direct and precise signals to the horse. This clear and precise communication from the rider allows for very gentle and light hands to provide maximum control.
BENEFITS
Only light hands required for maximum
control
gentle on the horse preventing injury
helps less physical riders control large head strong horses
Assists in re-educating problem horses
Creates a faster learning curve for young horses and equally to older horses with mouthing problems
Prevents lugging - vital in the racing industry, thoroughbred and pacing
Faster education of young horses due to a precise clear signal which minimizes confusion -- a must for horse breakers.
Prevents your horse getting its tongue over the bit
More accepting of the bit - the Pee Wee Bit is light weight and the horse is very comfortable with the bit.
Your horse will settle better and be more relaxed in running, head will be in correct position.
The way the horse yields to the pressure also encourages neck subtleness which is a very important in disciplines such as dressage
The way in which this bit encourages neck flex is also very obvious when working a horse at speed such as barrel racing or campdrafting. The way the horse yields to the bit helps lower the head at the same time the neck is flexing, allowing a more stable controlled turn at speed.
One size fits all horses from pony (12 1/2hh) to warmblood (16 1/2hh)
Only one bit required The Pee Wee Bit is for all horses and disciplines
3. LARGE RING UP and reins attached to SMALL RINGS

CORRECT FITTING of Pee Wee Bit
*There are 3 ways to fit the Pee Wee Bit. The first way with rings turned

1. LARGE RING TURNED DOWN and reins attached to LARGE RING

This position also elevates the bar in the mouth which prevents the horse getting its tongue over the bar.

2. LARGE RING UP and reins attached to LARGE RING
Remedial position to prevent mouth chafing (common in race horses) by keeping the large rings away from the sides of the mouth. If the condition already exists this position will help promote healing.
